B-corp accredited Ecologi has partnered with SeedCulture to support businesses in embedding sustainability into their core operations through innovative workforce education and activation solutions.
SeedCulture’s gamified sustainability enablement platform helps educate and activate employees and stakeholders on sustainability. The partnership will leverage Ecologi’s platform API to plant trees for every level completed as well as offering courses each consisting of 5-8 bite-sized modules to Ecologi’s 24,000 strong business community.
These include topics such as sustainability foundations, climate change, the circular economy, nature and biodiversity, sustainable procurement, and communication. Ecologi’s partners will also receive unlimited access to a growing library of sustainability training and action content which currently includes 11 courses and 55 missions.
A study from Accenture reveals that 93% of companies are failing on their sustainability commitments, partly due to the lack of resources to scale ongoing sustainability awareness & alignment across the workforce, yet according to Ecologi’s business survey, nine in ten employees said it was important to work for a company which prioritises the environment and sustainability.
Ecologi and SeedCulture aim to ensure employees are an integral part of the business sustainability journey with tangible actions that they can take, relevant to their daily roles, and aligned with the organisation’s sustainability strategy.
Dimitri Theocharis CEO, Ecologi, stated, “The potential for scalable climate action through SeedCulture’s software platform as a means to educate, engage and accelerate climate action for businesses is huge. Embedding climate action through e-learning is the definition of scalable and tangible climate action, in action”
Katelyn Prendiville, Co-Founder & CEO SeedCulture, stated, “We’re delighted to be joining forces with Ecologi as part of our vision to make sustainability part of everybody’s job. Not only do they have a great team, but their impact goals and values as an organisation are very much aligned with ours.”
