Hillhead returns to Tarmac’s Hillhead Quarry near Buxton from 23–25 June 2026, bringing the quarrying, mining, construction, and recycling sectors together for the UK’s largest working quarry exhibition. Organised by The QMJ Group, the biennial event has run at this unique venue since 1983.
The 2024 edition welcomed 19,500 visitors and nearly 600 exhibitors. For 2026, the show will again span 140,000m², including extensive live demonstration zones where equipment is put through its paces in real quarry conditions—covering quarry face machinery, rock processing, recycling systems, and more.
Opening times are 09:00–17:30 on 23 and 24 June, and 09:00–16:00 on 25 June.
