Packaging solutions on display at FachPack

Packaging machine specialist, Hugo Beck, is set to showcase its latest, sustainable film and paper packaging solutions, alongside its diverse range of packaging styles, at this year’s FachPack exhibition

The event, being held between 27 – 29 September 2022, will highlight the company’s commitment to placing sustainability at the top of its agenda, in terms of its continuous investment in machine innovation for efficient and sustainable packaging concepts.

“We want to support our customers by futureproofing their packaging processes. The integration of flexible, fully automated packaging machines which help to reduce material consumption, drive greater efficiency and improve recyclability, contributes significantly to this objective,” explains Timo Kollmann, Managing Director of Hugo Beck.

“We’re delighted to welcome visitors to our stand at FachPack, to help them find the right machines to optimise the efficiency of their packaging operations, across industries including, but not limited to, food and confectionary, pharmaceutical, and e-commerce and logistics.”

Consequently, the focus at FachPack will be the paper e-com fit packaging machine – the first time it has been on display at the Nuremberg exhibition. Ideal for e-commerce and mail order applications requiring minimal material to package goods, the machine is suitable for the direct dispatch of individual goods, packaging groups of products, or meeting the complex requirements of returned goods packaging.

Both uncoated and coated recyclable papers can be used for producing precisely fitting paper bags with two sewn sides plus a top overlap. Each bag size is automatically adapted to the varying product dimensions in length and width – and because the paper e-com fit stores paper rolls of two different widths, it minimises paper consumption. The film packaging alternative, the servo X e-com fit, is also available for discussion at FachPack, capable of automatically adjusting the shipping bags to specific product dimensions in length and width and processing a diverse range of material types such as recyclable mono-material films and recycled content films.

In addition, visitors can learn more about Hugo Beck’s alternative solutions, including their latest flowpack X machine: the modular solution for air-tight film packaging and paper packaging. Easily adjusted to process varying packaging materials with a short changeover and capable of coping with the most diverse heat and cold-sealable paper-based packaging materials and films with different thickness, the flowpack X enables optimum functionality, for manufacturers seeking sustainable packaging materials.

Representatives from Hugo Beck will be available on the FachPack stand to talk through the company’s complete machine portfolio, now available for both sustainable paper packaging and sustainable film packaging, with resource saving technology.
