Situated across 287 hectares, the Toronto Zoo is the largest zoo in Canada and averages around 1.2 million visitors a year. The zoo opened in 1974 and has been focused on sustainability, in one way or another, ever since. Environmental Sustainability Manager Kyla Greenham explained more to Hannah Barnett.
