Virospack, a leading company in cosmetic packaging solutions, has officially joined the United Nations Global Compact Spain, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. With this step, the company reaffirms its commitment to a business model grounded in values, accountability and purpose.
As a member of this international network, Virospack commits to aligning its strategy and operations with the Ten Principles of the Compact, which promote human rights, fair labor practices, environmental protection, and anti-corruption efforts, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
“For us, beauty is more than visual,” says Virospack’s Sustainability Manager. “It’s about how we act, what we stand for, and the impact we leave behind. Joining the Global Compact aligns with our vision to continue innovating while respecting people and the planet.”
This commitment complements other sustainability initiatives that are part of Virospack’s DNA, such as in-house manufacturing, the development of more sustainable packaging solutions, and the company’s focus on building an ethical and transparent value chain.
Today, the United Nations Global Compact includes more than 20,000 participating organisations in over 160 countries and serves as the leading global framework for companies that aim to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
